Welcome to Greens Farms
Greens Farms is the oldest neighborhood in the town of
Westport, settled in 1648, and includes some of the most beautiful estates. Picturesque and affluent, with large estates along Long Island Sound, Greens Farms offers shopping, restaurants, beach living and the prestigious Greens Farms Academy private school. Greens Farms is home to the well-known Beachside Avenue which is a stretch of the Gold Coast where famous residents enjoy waterfront estates overlooking Long Island Sound.

Greens Farms Association is a neighborhood association founded in 1971 dedicated to preserving and enhancing the residential quality of life in the Green’s Farms area. The Association is active in zoning issues as well as educational activities targeted to the neighborhood and home-ownership. They also participate in community services such as the Westport Beautification programs and town and beach clean-ups.
Greens Farms boasts one of the town’s public beaches at Burying Hill Point.

As the NYTimes states, “The Greens Farms Neighborhood has retained enough historic charm and woodlands to sustain an atmosphere of country living. Its proximity to Long Island Sound and distinction as the oldest residential section of Westport have also contributed to Greens Farms’ reputation as a promised land for the most well-to-do suburban settlers.”
